I've been having an affair on fashion with interiors lately. Since moving in with Steven our flat has slowly started to take shape, all that's missing is those often pricey and unessential little extras that pull everything together and make it a home.
It's a bit of a blank canvas at the moment, so I've been spending a lot of time on Pinterest pulling inspiration together (including these imgs!) to try and find my taste and style. (Wee Stevo is happy to go along with most of my choices, phew!)
I've found myself drawn to bohemian-chic interiors with a splash of scandi style. All about the white, exposed brick feel with heavy old wooden furniture and Moroccan-style decorative. AKA: Expensive, and often not the type of bits you find laying around in IKEA.
I was starting to think that getting enough pieces to make our flat homely was going to take forever unless I rinsed out my bank account, until my best friend introduced me to an online shop called Rockett St George. It's basically like a less tacky version of Urban Outfitters homeware but at a reasonable price. (I saw a small golden plant pot in Urban the other day selling for £30 and nearly vommed all over myself in horror.)
I've pulled together a little wishlist below, and when I get paid I'll start getting some of my favourite pieces.
Where do you shop for homeware?
