Clearly, I could not bare to wait one more day in hopes of warmth to pull the ole' broderie skirt back out. All I could think about was how much I wanted to wear it, so I found a way to make it work with the temperature. (Current reading of "boody hell, that wind is cold!")
The skirt was picked up last summer from H&M, but I'm pretty sure in another few weeks the broderie midi skirts will be hitting the shelves everywhere again in full-force. I paired it with a thin long sleeved knit from Topshop, to keep the goosebumps at bay.
My shoes were a Christmas gift from Steven, but are from New Look via ASOS. They don't sell them anymore, but you can get similar ones here. My Topshop denim shearling jacket is my current obsession. The lining makes it warm enough to wear out at the moment, but light enough that nobody on the tube thinks I have a sweating disorder.
Lastly, my lipstick is MAC's Deep Love. Sounds like a porno name, right? I went with a real Autumnal colour to make it clear I realise that it's not 25 degrees outside, I just fancied a white midi skirt and bare legs. And that's okay.
How are you styling this weird transitional period?
