FOTD: Super Quick 10 min makeup look

This is a quick post on my staple makeup routine for the last couple of weeks. I do change it up frequently, but this has been suiting my skin in the recent weird humid weather and I've nailed getting it all done in about ten minutes, which is all you can ask for when you wake up as late as I do every morning.

For my face I use the foundation Stay Perfect by No 7 in the shade Warm Ivory. I set it with a very, very light dusting of L'Oreal Minerals True Match. On a good skin day I'll only use the powder for lighter coverage. I run Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer under my eyes to brighten my dark circles.

My bronzer which I run down my cheekbones and across my forehead and down my nose is Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish in the shade Dark Tan. I brush Mac's Modern Mandarin blush on the apples of my cheeks and run a highligher from Sleek's Face Form palette on the tops of my cheekbones.

For my eyes on a quick day I'll just use the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay. I dust Naked 2 over my lids and then use Faint in the crease. If I look super tired I dot a bit of Venus in the inner corners of my eyes. to brighten them. On some days I'll run dark brown khol on my waterline, the pencil is from Topshop. I never use liquid liners because I have hooded lids and it's just unflattering.
At the time of shooting this post I was using the dual ended mascara Excess Volume by Max Factor.

My brows are done using Soap & Glory's DIY Brow Bar palette. I use the lighter powder for the inner corners of my eyebrows and the darker shade on the outer ends. I set it with Maybelline's Brow Drama gel.

My go-to nude shade is MAC Mehr. If my outfit needs something with more of a brown tone I'll use Whirl as an alternative, but for my skin tone Mehr seems to be the easiest pick-me up.

And that's me! What are your staple makeup pieces?
