Miller Harris Perfume Review

I've never found 'my scent.' I don't have one perfume I like to stick to, I play with different scents (an expensive habit for sure), but nothing has felt distinctly me. You know when a woman walks past and you get a whiff of her perfume and everything smells great for a minute? (Yes, I realise how creepy that all sounds.) Well, I've never found a perfume that sticks with me throughout the day and that people can affiliate me with.

So when Miller Harris asked if I wanted to try one of their perfumes, I opted in. I hadn't heard of Miller Harris before, but it's essentially a London Perfumer who work with super high quality raw and pure materials to produce the loveliest scents. I wasn't sure which one to go for, but I said I preferred fruity scents over floral-y ones, (floral scents make me thing of old-lady soaps for some reason), and they recommended Poirier d'un Soir.

The website describes it as 'autumnal warmth' with 'dusky Turkish rose and peony accented by tangy blackcurrant and a swirl of caramel'.
It smells like how I imagine Marilyn Monroe would have smelt. It's sweet, a little musky, sexy and subtly fruity.

If you're willing to give it a go, you can buy it here. I don't know yet if it's 'my scent', or if I'll ever even have one, but until I figure that out I think you can't go wrong with something that smells like Marilyn Monroe. Feminine, sexy and with a little bit of a kick to it - if I can't live my life that way, at least my perfume can.

**I was sent this product as a gift, but all my opinions are my own and completely genuine!
